AFG Oncology Care - Successful Launch of the Webinar Series for Advanced Practice Nurses in the Care of People with Cancer
On June 17, 2026, the webinar series for advanced practice nurses caring for people with cancer got off to a successful start. The first webinar focused on precision medicine, infertility in cancer patients, and symptom management during and after treatment for breast and gynecological cancers. Thanks to renowned experts with interprofessional backgrounds, participants were provided with the latest findings and practical recommendations for action.
Following this successful kickoff focusing on women’s health, the webinar series will continue on September 9, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The next webinar will be held in collaboration with the European Society of Urology Nursing and will focus on the care of men with prostate cancer.
Registration is now open on the VfP website at Events possible.
AFG Rehabilitation Care - Workshop on the Position Paper on Rehabilitation Care on September 17, 2026
The University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland conducted a survey on behalf of the Academic Society for Rehabilitation Nursing and the Rehabilitation Nursing Interest Group. The goal was to systematically describe the roles of rehabilitation nurses in Switzerland and to identify areas where further clarification or development is needed. Based on these results, a panel of experts has developed a position paper that we would very much like to discuss with representatives from the fields of practice, education, and research.
Date: September 17, 2026
Time: 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Location: University of Lucerne, Frohburgstrasse 2, 4th floor, Room 4.B01
Admission: free
Important: This event pairs very well with the BBraun Reading and the LIFE Forum combine events taking place on the same day and at the same location—a great opportunity to enjoy an exciting day filled with new insights on the topic of rehabilitation and to network.
