
Call for Abstracts
The Swiss Anniversary Nursing Science Conference 2027 aims to bring together thought leaders, researchers, educators, and practitioners in nursing to discuss the latest advancements, challenges, and opportunities in the field of nursing science and development.
This premier event will foster collaboration, stimulate innovative thinking, and provide a platform to showcase research and practices that are shaping the future of healthcare. As the healthcare landscape continues to evolve, nursing science and advanced practice play a pivotal role in addressing pressing Swiss and global health challenges, enhancing patient outcomes, and advancing evidence-based practice.
The Anniversary Nursing Science Conference 2027 is the first international conference of the Swiss Association for Nursing Science and will serve as a hub for knowledge sharing, networking, and professional growth.
We warmly invite you to submit your projects, research and practical development initiatives. Abstracts can be submitted via conference webpage until 28th of July 2026. The conference language is English.
The best abstract will be awarded by the Scientific Advisory Board with CHF 600.
The three best posters shall be awarded by the conference visitors. The following prize money is available: 1st place: CHF 400; 2nd place: CHF 200; 3rd place: CHF 100.

Abstract Submission
Abstracts must be submitted via the conference website.
Please fill in all required fields.
Abstracts can be submitted for oral presentations, symposia or poster presentations.
Abstracts should be short (max 2500 characters, including spaces), clear, concise and written in English with correct spelling and good sentence structure. Do not use references.
The last submission date for abstracts is July 28th, 2026, and the information about accepted abstracts will be given at the latest by September 30th 2026
The last day to register as a presenter is October 30th, 2026.
Important: An abstract book will be produced for the congress. The abstract book will be assigned an ISBN number or a DOI number (we are working on this), so that the abstracts can be considered a publication.
The abstract should include the following information and follow this structure
- Abstract title
- Presentation type: Oral presentation/Symposium/Poster
- Corresponding author (Title, Job title, Membership Yes/No of VfP, Institution, Country, Email)
- Other authors (Title, Job title, Membership Yes/No of VfP, Institution, Country)
- Background
- Research question/Objective
- Methods and materials
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusion
Presentation formats:
- Oral presentation: 30 minutes (25 minutes’ presentation and 5 minutes’ discussion)
- Symposia: 60 minutes; the format of the symposia is left to the presenters’ discretion. A maximum of two people may be heads of a symposium. Please note that only a very limited number of symposia can be accepted.
- Posters: Please note that we wish to give the posters due attention, e.g. with a 1–2-minute poster presentation. However, the final presentation format is still to be decided.
