Submission window open for the Prix d'excellence santeneXt 2026
The Prix d’excellence santeneXt is an annual award that recognizes outstanding multi-stakeholder projects in the Swiss healthcare sector that promote patient well-being in innovative ways. Initiatives for the 2026 edition can now be submitted; the deadline for entries is February 28, 2026. The award will be presented in 2026 by AbbVie, Galenic and Roche supports the winners and offers them, among other things, a professionally produced project film for additional visibility.Further information and entry form

GiveCare survey on diversity and gender in palliative care
As part of the GiveCare project for gender- and diversity-sensitive end-of-life care läuft aktuell eine Online-Umfrage An online survey is currently being conducted among professionals in Switzerland. All professional groups and settings involved in palliative care are invited to participate, even if they do not specialize or work exclusively in palliative care (e.g., family doctors or pastoral caregivers). Participation is anonymous, takes around 15 minutes, and is available in German, French, and Italian.

Submit abstracts for the 21st EDCNS in Maastricht
For the 21. European Doctoral Conference in Nursing Science (EDCNS) is approaching the deadline for abstract submissions: January 31, 2026. PhD and master's students are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations in all areas of nursing science, healthcare, and home care. Swiss Nursing Research Overview
Since 2020, the Swiss Nursing Research Overview An overview of ongoing and completed research projects involving nursing scientists in Switzerland. The aim is to raise the profile of research and promote exchange.
New contributions are welcome! Members and institutions are invited to register their projects and dissertations, taking into account the Conditions for inclusion in the database.
This ensures that the overview remains up to date and enhances the visibility of nursing research in Switzerland.
We would like to thank everyone who contributes to nursing science with their commitment, patience, and expertise. Every initiative, every project, and every contribution strengthens our joint efforts to develop evidence-based, patient-centered nursing practice. Rehabilitation care: Role. Impact. Responsibility.AFG Reha invites you to attend a care symposium on rehabilitation care entitled "Rehabilitation care: role, impact, responsibility." The event will take place on November 24 at the Volkshaus in Zurich. The focus will be on discussing the role of rehabilitation care, its impact, and the responsibilities involved. A non-binding registration is already possible. Participants will be informed as soon as further information and the registration form are available.

The 2027 anniversary congress will mark 30 years of nursing science in Switzerland. Together with members, partners, and interested parties, we want to celebrate the development, achievements, and prospects of nursing science and continue to develop our thinking in this area.
The congress offers a diverse program with specialist presentations, discussion forums, poster presentations, and networking opportunities. The focus is on current topics from research, education, and practice, as well as the question of how nursing science can contribute to the further development of healthcare in the future.
