Data protection

Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection regulations of the Swiss Confederation (Data Protection Act, DSG), every person has the right to protection of their privacy as well as protection against misuse of their personal data. We comply with these provisions. Personal data is treated as strictly confidential and is neither sold nor passed on to third parties.

Handling of personal data

Personal data is information with the help of which a person can be determined, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, email address or telephone number, but also, for example, the visit to websites or information about hobbies. We collect, use or process personal data of our users only insofar as this is necessary for a functioning website and our content and services, is permitted by law or the users consent to the data collection. When contacting the Association for Nursing Science (for example, via contact form or e-mail), the information provided by the user will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and in the event that follow-up questions arise.

Access data

This website is hosted by the company hausformat on servers from swisszonic. In cooperation with our hosting providers, we make every effort to protect our website from unauthorized access, loss, misuse or forgery. We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

When accessing our websites, the following data is stored in log files: IP address, date, time, browser request and general transmitted information about the operating system or browser. The log files are used to detect technical problems and to ensure security. This data does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about individual persons. The usage data collected forms the basis for statistical, anonymous evaluations so that trends can be identified, which we can use to improve our offerings accordingly.

Coding

The website uses a security certificate. This encrypts the connections between the website and the visitors. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the lock symbol in the address bar of the browser and by the fact that the address of the website begins with https:// instead of http://.

Privacy policy for the use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymization is activated on this website, however, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Cookies

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Privacy policy for the use of LinkedIn

We use the social network LinkedIn of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland ("LinkedIn").

LinkedIn uses cookies, which are text files that are stored on your computer. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is transferred in pseudonymous form to a LinkedIn server in the USA and stored there. LinkedIn therefore does not store the name or email address of the respective user. Rather, the data is only assigned to the person for whom the cookie was generated. This does not apply if you as a user of LinkedIn have permitted processing without pseudonymization or have a LinkedIn account.

You can refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, but please note that you may then not be able to use all the features of this website. You can also object to the use of your data directly at LinkedIn:
